Dr. Matthew Leibman has been the treating doctor at Matthews Chiropractic Center since January 2006. He was providing care for patients in Brooklyn and Queens, NY before moving to Charlotte in 2004. Dr. Leibman has been a licensed Chiropractic Physician since January 2002. Dr. Leibman earned his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from New York Chiropractic College in December 2001 after receiving a Bachelor of Science from the State University of New York at Binghamton in 1998.
Dr. Leibman has experience treating personal and work-related injuries, weekend-warrior maladies, motor vehicle injuries, sciatica and disk injuries, pediatrics, geriatrics and everything in between. Under his care, patients have maintained healthy spines, gained relief with chiropractic adjustments, rehabilitated from injuries, and avoided surgical procedures. Dr. Leibman has volunteered to provide triage services to participants in the New York City Marathon and New York City Triathlon, as well as, chiropractic care for participants in the Avon Walk for Breast Cancer in Charlotte, NC.
An avid runner himself, Dr. Leibman has personally overcome back injury to complete a half marathon within four months time.
